These conditions govern the sales of products (works, jewelry, etc.) exclusively on the site www.arteis.eu They are accessible on this site by the buyer at the time of the order. The effective ordering of artists’ products is open to any Internet user respecting the General Conditions of Use of the site. To place an online order, the customer must register by creating a personal account on the site, and the corresponding login and password have been assigned to them. The online ordering methods are defined and detailed in Article 5 of these General Terms and Conditions. The majority of Products are shipped and delivered to Buyers by Sellers, under their sole responsibility.

PRICES AND WORKS
The photographs illustrating the products, as precisely as possible for perfect information for the consumer, do not, however, constitute a contractual document. The prices appearing on this site are indicated in €, excluding delivery costs (see delivery). The paintings ordered are invoiced at the price in effect when the order is placed. In the event of a price promotion, the professional seller undertakes to apply the promotional price to any order placed during the duration of the promotion. When ordering outside Europe, you are the importer of the painting concerned. For paintings shipped outside the European Union, taxes may be eligible. These rights and sums do not fall within the jurisdiction of Arteis. They will be your responsibility and are your entire responsibility both in terms of declarations and payments to the competent authorities and organizations in your country. The paintings remain the entire property of Arteis until full payment of the indicated price. The offers and prices offered on the site may be exclusive and different from the distance selling offers offered in catalogs, promotional mailings, asilages, or by telephone. Certain offers offered in catalogs, mailings, asilages or by telephone may not be available on the website.
ORDER AND VALIDATION OF THE TRANSACTION
When you confirm your order, you declare that you have read and accepted all of these general conditions of sale. To place an order, the consumer, after having filled his virtual basket by indicating the selected products and the desired quantities, completes and validates his order and provides information relating to delivery and payment method. When ordering for the first time, you will need to create a personal account using a valid email address and a password of your choice. This online registration will allow the recording of the information necessary for the completion of the first order, and will simplify your possible future orders. This email address is also communicated with each new order placed on the site. You will be asked to provide billing details for the order and delivery details for the order. This last step will allow us to specify the delivery time of the order and the amount of delivery costs. It is expressly specified that the order will not be likely to be successful in the event that the email address communicated is invalid or inoperative. The communication of the valid email address takes place under the sole responsibility of the customer who cannot seek the responsibility of the seller in the event of failure to complete the order due to the transmission of an invalid or inoperative email address, for each order placed on the site. As soon as your order is registered, an acknowledgment of receipt will be sent to you by email after validation of payment.
Any order modification by the consumer after confirmation of his order is subject to acceptance by the seller. The seller reserves the right to make modifications to the product ordered which are linked to technical developments under the conditions provided for in article R. 132-2-1, V of the Consumer Code. We reserve the right to cancel any order from a customer with whom there is a dispute relating to the payment of a previous order. The contract is concluded upon confirmation of payment by the bank. It is recalled that in application of article 1124 of the Civil Code, unemancipated minors and protected adults within the meaning of article 488 of the Civil Code are incapable of contracting, to the extent defined by law. If exceptionally the products ordered are unavailable, in whole or in part, upon delivery, the seller informs the customer within two working days following validation of the order and contacts them to offer a refund. The archiving of online transactions and invoices is carried out on a reliable and durable medium so as to constitute a faithful and durable copy in accordance with article 1348 of the Civil Code.

Payment for your purchases is made in €, $, HKD $, SGD $, or TRY. Several payment methods are possible:

SHIPPING
Works purchased on Arteis can be shipped by the artists themselves, using their own carriers, or using express and premium carriers like DHL Express. Most seller-shipped packages are delivered worldwide within 1-4 weeks. This time may very depending on the country of destination and the delivery method chosen. Delivery will be made to the address you indicate on the order form. The Seller undertakes to ship the products within 3 working days from order confirmation, some works (large format 50×50 and more) require processing of 7 to 15 days upon receipt of payment. In the event of damaged works, in the event of a shortage or damage, it is necessary to send the list of damages to Arteis by fax or email no later than 72 hours after delivery.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL: REFUND – ON INTERNET ONLY
If your work of art does not meet your expectations, have no worries. You have 15 days from receipt of the order to return the product in its original packaging. The price of the painting(s) will be refunded to you. Not valid for orders for personalized works or for autographed works. We promise to reimburse you within 15 days of receipt. If the order is a gift, it is the sender who will receive the refund for the order. The type of refund you receive will depend on how you paid for the gift. The seller reserves the right to refuse any order for legitimate reasons and, more particularly, if the quantities of products ordered are abnormally high for buyers who are consumers.
CONSUMER GUARANTEE
In the event that the delivered works present one or more hidden defects, you must send in their original packaging and within 15 days from the date of delivery. Arteis undertakes to reimburse you.
RIGHTS TO THE WORK AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The artist remains the owner of the copyright. Copyright defends LATGA. The rights of representation and reproduction of the works present on the site www.arteis.eu belong to their authors and to Arteis. It is necessary to have their joint authorization for any exploitation of these rights. All elements appearing on the site are protected by copyright, trademark law and all other intellectual property rights. No reproduction and/or adaptation may be made without the authorization of Arteis.
COMPUTER NETWORKS / TELECOMMUNICATIONS
You declare that you know and accept the characteristics specific to computer and telecommunications networks. In particular, the seller cannot be held responsible in the following cases, without this being an exhaustive list:
- – Interruption of networks, delays or delays in the delivery of electronic messages or any other data
- – Hardware or software failures
- – Malicious attacks, data theft, computer viruses, inadequacies in protection and backup measures • – Handling errors, misuse of hardware and software

CONFIDENTIALITY RULE
To place an order, you are required to provide us with certain information which will be subject to computer processing. By confirming your order, you allow us to process your file. In accordance with the law of January 6, 1978, you can access this information, request its modification or rectification or request to no longer appear in our database by sending us an email to: info@arteis.eu
APPLICABLE TEXTS – JURISDICTION
This agreement is subject to French law. In the event that a dispute arises from this contractual relationship, the client and Arteis undertake before any legal action to seek an amicable solution.
